The 15-year old Fanfan has to hide for a weekend at the house of his beautiful neighbor, a prostitute with the Tonton-Macoute. Set in Port-au-Prince during the Duvalier dictatorship, the film is a coming of age story, showcasing the vulnerability of women and children under a violent regime, with Fanfan learning to navigate treacherous territory.
