High School is a film about a large, urban high school and records the daily activities of administrators, teachers, parents and students and the policies and attitudes which shape the institution. The ideology and values of the school emerge through a series of formal and informal encounters among students, parents and teachers in guidance sessions, college counseling, disciplinary and faculty meetings, corridor patrol, and athletic, classroom and extra-curricular activities.
