Beautifully filmed with very little dialogue, Latcho Drom
) traces the migration of the
Roma from India to Egypt, Turkey, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, France and
Spain through the music and dance by leading performers from those
regions. The film takes place over one year’s time, and focuses on Roma
essentials – food, water, musical instruments, song, dance, and the
