When a young woman loses her father, love, and her faith, she embarks on a journey and becomes lost in the desert. Surrounded by silence and a vast emptiness, she meets a friend, and together they will discover an unreasonable love. Ruth will walk a hundred miles, without food or water, through the desert, for a fighting chance to have the most basic of human rights — to love and be loved. Book of Ruth explores the complexities of faith and doubt as a young girl attempts to understand her beliefs, love, and meaning. (2K DCP presentation)

The feature will be preceded by the short film:

The Wood House (2013, 15 min.) Directed by Joseph Marconi
